About Me

Eve Weston is a writer and performer in Los Angeles. For television, she’s written for ABC’s Better With You and Disney Channel’s Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja and Wizards of Waverly Place. For Wizards, she wrote and choreographed the “Funky Hat Dance,” which became a symbol of girl friendship worldwide and a YouTube sensation with more than a million views. Eve has sold a pilot to ABC Family (now Freeform) and a web series to AwesomenessTV. And she has contributed jokes to Better Off Ted, The Megan Mullally Show, Will & Grace, and Yes, Dear. Eve has an MFA in screenwriting from USC and has taught television writing for the respected writing website Mediabistro.com.

 

Eve also works as a speechwriter and journalist. She’s penned orations for philanthropic galas and consulted with executives, entrepreneurs and others on television appearances, keynotes and toasts. As a journalist, Eve has written award-winning pieces for LA Weekly.

 

Eve also enjoys musical theatre book and lyric writing and stand-up comedy. She is the producer of and a performer in Instant Friends, a live monthly comedy show, now in its second year, in which the cast improvises all-new episodes of Friends based on an audience suggestion. And Eve is also a writer and cast member for Red Flag Sketch Comedy, a house team at the Westside Comedy Theater in Los Angeles.
